Don't be nervous!. you will definitely get your PPR before me. your file is in the mint condition.
you are in security check right now. to be honest nobody exactly knows the time frame of this stage. there are tons of parameters that are out of our control. the number of the countries we have lived before, our nationality and some other parameters that we don't know. but the average time line is 2 to 4 months
these are the average timeline for FSW2 and FSW3 who filed in Buffalo

24 to 26 months from the date filed in Sydney
22 to 24 months from the date filed in Buffalo (this time line updates every three months. it is 23 months right now but I expect it to raise to 24!)
2 to 4 months after MR is done.

these numbers are just my vivid imagination and I hope they will be true.

FYI, this 23 months timeline starts from the date you receive the second AOR from Buffalo. This information is from Cohen's office.

I received my 2nd AOR from Buffalo around Nov 2010 and my 23 months would have been Oct 2012. I have not heard anyone so far who had to wait 23 months after 2nd AOR to get MR.

In my case, I just did the Medical test last week. As far as my timeline goes, I applied to Sydney in Feb 2010, and received the 2nd AOR from Buffalo in Nov 2010. File got transferred to Detroit in Nov 2011, got MR in Jan 2012.

the timeline I mentioned is for finishing everything and getting PPR.
if you look at the website they clearly mentioned 23 months after Filing based on 80% of finished application[/b].
anyway, I am a person like other applicants in this forum and I'm not sure about what I said.
as I understood you've got your MR 23 months after filing at Sydney and I think you will finish it in 2 to 3 months from now witch means 24 to 26 months from the time you filed at Sydney in total!
I appreciate if you look at your time line and let us know when did you file at Buffalo. more data will help us to figure out the true timeline.
I really appreciate if everyone could update its signature timeline witch is not pretty popular in this forum!

one more thing.you told me that your file transferred to Buffalo on June 2010.June 2010 is a little bit tricky. did you file before June 25 or after this day? because for Post-June application there is no valid data yet. but for pre-June application the average time line is 22 to 24 months after filing in Buffalo.
Hi Gazzz

I think my file comes in pre-june applicants, i m not sure, here are the exact dates for my 1st AOR and file transfer date to Buffalo
1st AOR 15 June, 2010
File transfer to Buffalo on 24 June, 2010

Thanks

it's hard to tell. did they ask you for IELTS? because for Post-June applicants IELTS is obligatory.
but I still think that you should get MR lately February or early March. keep your fingers crossed and enjoy your winter!
ask your Lower to send a case-specific inquiry to Visa office and ask them about your file.
if they reply "your file is in Que for preliminary assessment" means is not your time yet but if they replied "your file is in process" means you will get MR soon.

I completely understand your feeling, because I'm in the same situation. Over load, under paid, begging employee to apply for new work permit and ....
but all we can do is waiting

you are right, I will wait till Feb 15, 2012 , if there is no change in my Ecas like we start processing, i will request for CAIPS surely. I sent them new ielts test last year and its valid till Jan 2013. Hope for the best.
Thanks Gazzz and plus 1 to you.

My understanding is that "pre-June" means application being submitted to NS office before June 25 2010, not to Buffalo.

Thanks for your comments.
I think you are right. Sydney is C.P.C (Case Processing Centre) and is not CIO. after june 25 2010 they changed the procedure and every applicant should sent the complete package to Sydney.
In our time, I mean dinosaur time, they didn't ask us for IELTS.but I remember they started to ask for IELTS for applicants who filed at Buffalo after June 25 2010.
immigration is like afterlife. nobody knows what exactly going on down there.

Buffalo increased the average time line from 23 to 25 months!
means add two more months to your waiting skills.
::)
