CIC website still say's the total processing time is 21 months under federal skilled worker from buffalo. I am at 20th month still not even close to medical request. what do you guys think?

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/skilled-fed.asp#west

it means the total processing time is 21 months for previous applicants. It doesn't really mean anything because for last 6 months, thay have been increasing this number on this page. It was 15 months last year remember? It's obvious that we'll see "23 Months" figure next month.

No I think it would be Jan 2012.

this time period they show is not an estimate of future processing, it's actually how long it took 80% of Previous applicants to get their visa process finished from the day visa office (Buffalo in our case) received their applications.

Agreed. By the time we get our visa, this number could be either longer or shorter, most probably longer - 25 months? 30 months? who knows...

Yes. But it definitely won't be shorter because my application (like most of us here) went in 18 months ago (March2010) and there's no sign of Meds -i guess the process between getting a Med Request and Getting a Stamped Passport back alone is at least 4+ months. So, we're already way past that 21-month time. It'll definitely increase to 23 or more very soon - unless there's a miracle really. (i'm not trying to sound discouraging - I'm myself suffering a LOT because of this. I'm only talking Numbers). All i can say is- wish I knew this before starting this process back in September 2009 (registering for IELTS etc). So much time sacrificed.
