Hi Backsterd, wait for couple of weeks only. My status turned to in process early Feb, 2011, got Med request on 05/05/11. Early june send them a case specific inquiry. FSW 3 means you are in Canada, contact your local MP office, his office staff will be able to speak with people in Ottawa on phone and will tell you whats going on with your app. MP office staff can do it on spot. Buffalo will send a standard reply for your query.

Dear Zulkfal,

Did you finish your Medical test?

In what part of Toronto?

How much it cost?

Hi Pooja123,

Please add me in the group...got my 2nd AOR at Buffalo last May 6, 2010...my status recently changed to "in process" last month April 2011...still waiting for meds request...
Honestly, I felt glad seeing this thread and all the other timeline, at least we can keep track how Buffalo is working on our case...

Thanks,
Larxace

Thanks everyone for the wishes ... those who haven't gotten MR/PPR yet, especially canada_dream100 and burcu, I understand your feelings cz I've been through it ... and the journey is not finished yet for me either ... I wish the best for you and myself and everyone else

Thank you for your wishes Danhass.. It took sooo long, a lot longer than I was expecting. It still says RBVO.... And if I wasn't in this forum I would think there is something wrong with my file.. Thanks for all of your support.

hello friends,

I am writing this post from a Buffalo, NY, starbucks. We were in the the Canadian consulate at 8:15 am today and got out with immigrant visa stamps before 10:30. Whole process was about 2 hours. Very smooth...

A BIG Thank you to all of you for your support and guidance through the process.

I am planning on driving across the border right now.

we plan to to go apply for PR card and then come back in a day or two.

Yes! we are taking the risk of coming back without PR and need be will go for the travel document if at all there was any complication..

Good luck to you all...!

:-)

Congratulations Atif.Ayub :).hope u have a smooth process ahead.Enjoy ur big day :D

Hi Guys!!!

Great news!!! just received my passport request from Buffalo!!!! after a long wait finally came through. I'm planning to go this Thursday early morning.

Just one question:

1. Do you need to apply for the PR card in other place? or it'll get to my address in Canada directly?
2. Does anyone have any experience in landing within category FSW2?

Thanks a lot for your support guys! This forum has been really helpful...
