Okay take it this way, u have got 2nd AOR on 05-05-2010, and still waiting for medical; but that does not means that no body have looked at your file till now, your file might have been touched (looked) say in 9th or 10th month of 2010 and again VO might have given you another BFD of 2011, say March 2011, VO may send you medical request in April or again may issue another BFD... I hope you got what I wish to share....

We need to understand that there is backlog and our application is in queue, applicant who have applied before us, in most cases, will get visa before us, and there is limit to the visa every year, so till we reach end and there is enough visa, we will continue to get BFD.

Hope I am correct, seniors may correct me if something is wrong.

hello. sir i have a question. when you submitted your application to buffalo.....were you over 120 days? i thought they have a max days of 120 days? coz mine is due in a few days and have not submitted yet.

My BFD is 01March2011

Seniors,I am also eligibe for CEC now .what do you suggest ,should I go ahead with CEC
because I dont know whether I will get another BFD on 01March2011 or medical

Dear friend,I live and work in Canada since 2006.I applied for CEC on januaray 2009 but they refused me beacose my IELTS score was only 5 and for my NOC it should be 7.I waste the money and time and applied again for FSW in february 2010.My advise for you is that,you must take your IELTS to know your score and than to apply.If is everything ok you will get your visa for maximum 10 month.This is fastest way!Dont make the same mistake like me bro!

The reason my file is delayed bcz I sent me documents in April-2010.

Has any body noticed a forum member getting medical instructions from Buffalo since 01 January 2011, irrespetive of the fact whether they got their 2nd AOR in April/May or later in 2010? All visa offices get their yearly quotas in Jan.

just to release my frustration:

it's been 22 days since i sent letter to FBI and no reply yet. I know for some it takes up to 12/13 weeks but AFAIK that long usually takes around thanksgiving/christmas ... for feb/march applications it's usually 3 or 4 weeks ... i hope that's actually the case

i was doing just fine b4 the jan 17 letter but after that the anxiety has kicked in really hard ... i've started waiting minute-by-minute to get it all over with ... it's frustrating ... i haven't been able to do anything productive last whole month ... just being a couch potato ...

Can understand ur frustration...even I had sent thriceand each time it took almost 8 weeks to get the reply and on the first 2 cases it was rejected due to low quality of prints.

Don't worry buddy,wait for another 3-4 weeks for the letter.Wish u receive sooner

When I sent the case specific inquiry to the buffalo in the NOV. 2010 I got reply that your file is "in process". Since then I am waiting for medical or atleast change in the E-CAS status but neither is working in my favor.

Just a curious question:

Is there any chances that Medical request sent by the Buffalo and is lost in the mail...
And if yes, then what are the consequences?

Relax..... pls. try trackitt.com, there are so many even in front of you in the queue... Even I am not enjoying this long waiting period, but there is no other option other than to wait.... I would suggest you to wait till mid or end of April... if you don't get any update then apply for CAIPS, you will have all info about your case... if you send case specific inquiry, you won't get any info other than that your case is In process or they will ask you to wait for N no. of weeks.

Hi, Buddy, i am in da same situation as yours, so frustrated, and I am also considering whether to send them email asking for my current status, but i think their answer will not give us anything, it might be still some kind of in process of still in queue waiting. Buddy, lets just wait 1 more month.
