i have seen new update application processing time for FSw in bufallo which is maximum 17 months ...they said if ur application takes longer than this contact them........

What was the previous maximum time?

Just wanted to update this thread and let you all know that my husband and I got our visas on 11/2. Very happy after such a long wait!! It took a year and over 1 month to get it. Our destination is Alberta. We hope to be moved by Christmas. I also have a job waiting so it makes it even better! I wish you all the best and for those that have been waiting for what seems like forever with no movement just try to have patience. That is the key.

It is 13 months for me too. My application arrived in Sydney just three days before your application arrived there.

I hope to get PPR before Christmas so that I can fly to see my family and complete my landing upon returning to Canada. I'll stop in Buffalo to pick up the visa if need be.

Yeah, we're pretty similar looking at your timeline. I have some business here in US which need to be taken care of in the next 8 months, having said that, the sooner PR status the better .

I got an email from Buffalo requesting my passport today at 14:50 EDT!!!! Thank you to everyone for your help and support!

I think that I am going to fly from Edmonton to Toronto or Hamilton on Monday, cross back into the U.S., get my visa, and come back into Canada. I don't want to be without my passport for several weeks if I send it, in case I have to leave Canada in an emergency.
