I didn't doubt your reply :-o. I just check E-cas and still "RCVD by VO". I'm not gonna check my status anymore until next week . Hanging around here make me feel better than waiting for the status to change.

I totally second u for that guys...
sometimes looking at other ppl u jus can't stop ur self to check it hoping this time it wud be it..
but again disappointment,,no luck,,,seems so stagnent...

Does it take longer if you have AEO in Canada?

I cannot stop looking each day. It seems that it is taking a longer time even though I am already working in Canada.

it certainly looks like the fact that we are already working and have a job offer doesn't make a difference in processing times.. I think fsw1 gets priority over fsw2 ..

I totally agree u on dat...most of us have AEO n only for those it's taking a longer time..
may be cos in arrange employ.. dey go in a deeper background check..
like my case..i thot job offer wud speed up my process,,it turned out to be ridiculiously long..
It's really funny wen they know we have a job waiting n should we join it asap...

yup it is ridiculous.. at-least those of us who are already on work permits in Canada with arranged employment offer should get some priority since we have established the fact that we are capable of living here and are contributing to taxes and the economy...

I toally agree with u too, I thought there's an AEO would be faster than others as I have an employer to wait for me here, so they would review my file faster. But i think i was wrong, I can not control myself to check my status every moning and evening, its still "received by visa office" , so dissapointed.

Here's as interesting thing about all the cases above which changed recently.
none of them or correct me if iam wrong ,most of them above don't have job offer,
so i guess buffalo is ryte now processing all the cases which have passed the point hurdle
and ready for rest of the process,
I really don't c anybdy wid job offer getting in process ryte now ,
May they all will turn into process together when they done are with the process of whatever they are applying for AEO' applicants..
