I am applying for visitor visa to take an exam,and I have the following question if any body can help.

1- can I submit the hotel booking & exam reservation receipts instead of invitation letter.

2-after submitting the online application, is there any other step I should do? like visiting the embassy or I should wait for the replay & that's it.

1. Yes - you can do that.
2. You just wait. The embassy won't be processing your file and won't be able to answer any questions about your application.

1. You can submit hotel bookings + proofs of the examination fees + provisional flight bookings.

Prepare a day-by-day itinerary for yourself and your wife mentioning tourist places + to meet your friend + for the exam.... with expense estimates. Do not limit the purpose of your visit to only the exam. Your friend can also provide a letter inviting you to meet him.


2. You will have to wait for a decision from the visa office. You cannot visit the embassy/consulate.

You and your wife must show strong ties to your home country + good financial situation
