Hi everyone!

I just need some help with a quick question, and I think it should have a fairly straight forward answer I just can't find it anywhere.

Basically, I'm a British citizen with a British passport and I'm going to Canada before Christmas this year to stay with some friends I met travelling. After about a week of being in Canada, I'm flying out of Canada with them on a package holiday for a week, then flying back into Canada to stay for a few more weeks.

On the phone to the woman who booked my package holiday, she advised me I'd need a "Multiple entry visa" to return to Canada after being in the dominican. Is that the case? Do I need a multiple entry visa? If so, how do I get it?

The immigration website says that because I'm a UK passport holder and citizen I don't need a tourist visa to enter the country. I'm al ittle confused. Any advise would be great!

Thanks!

You should not need a visa you are from a visa exempt country.

Be aware that you are a visitor to Canada, so you will need to show the immigration officer that you have ties to the UK and will be returning there.
How long do you intend to stay in Canada once you return from your holiday?

Check out the CIC website information for visitors.

Look at this site:

It seems to say that you have no need for a visa into Canada, but do need a visa for the Dominican Republic, so I'd check that requirement with the local Dominican embassy. Don't rely on the travel agent; they are sometimes wrong.
