Hi.
I want to apply for Visitor visa for more than 6 month. I'm holding UK visitor visa already and travelled there for a week too.
I'm working in a government organization in India.
So what are the chances to get Multiple entry visa for maximum of 10 years.

You are always welcome to apply for a Visa based on your financials and home country ties. Just note that not everyone will get Visa for 10 years and there is no ensure way of obtain max 10 years. It will be upto the VO who is handling your application.

You realize that a 10 year multiple entry visa doesn't mean you get to stay 10 years? You only get to stay 6 months (maximum) per entry.

Okay. . I have friends and relatives staying there as citizen. So I want to visit and travel there.
To avoid applying again and again for visa I was looking forward for 10 years visa.

The length of your TRV/visitor visa will depend on the assessment made by the visa officer, including whether or not an applicant needs to visit again in the future.

IMO, it is not advisable to specifically request for a long validity TRV because it indicates the possibility of overstaying

My parents have visited me last year , they only got a One Year multiple entry Visa, and I extended there stay for 6months...now they went back to India and in a process to apply for a fresh new Visitor Visa.

I want to know is there something I need to do on my end in order to request or apply to get my parents a 10 year multiple entry visa.

Please looking for some in depth advice, links & references also appreciated.

No - there's nothing you can do on your end. How long a visa is issued is up to IRCC. You parents should try to provide as much evidence as they can to show strong ties to their home country.

If they were here as visitors for a full year, I would recommend they wait at least a year before applying for a new TRV.

Thanks for this information scylla, I have a medical condition, but now treatment is completed and in this situation my doctor may not provide with a support letter, are the chances still low.?

Your parents have spent quite a long time in Canada. The reason for that doesn't really matter. TRVs are intended for short visits - not to live here. Again, I would strongly recommend they wait a year from the time they returned home before applying.

Please I have also received work permit, visa and family information forms to complete and submit to an assigned Immigration Case by name Barista Adama Bah for my Express Entry Regional Clearance Authorization and Quebec Selection Certificate. I am to pay $498 to the DFAT and West African Regional Centralized Intake Ofiice in Gambia where Barister Adama Bah is the coordinator. Please help me to determine the authenticity of this. Also my status is classified as employer driven/ lean process, what does it mean. I really need some credible information on this as I have four more working days to submit the two document to IRCC. Thank you.

Visit Visas are generally valid up-till the validity of the passport.
Visa might be from 3 months to max 10 years

1. make sure that your passport is valid for 10 years
2. It depends upon visa officer , he can issue 10 years or 3 months valid , as its not an option of an applicant

I applied for work permit extension and received it yesterday after 4 months however, i am going to India on 27th october and my multiple entry visa is expired. Can I apply Multiple entry visa from India? I have a valid open work permit and my p.r application is in process as well. i am bit concerned. what are the chances they can reject it?
