OK so my spouse is Canadian , we are in final stages of security checks , we both set off on the big bird in the sky for jolly hollys for 2-3 weeks and its as if I have never left ?? so carry on counting the days like there invisable ? once I am a PR .

No, not for eligibility for citizenship. It MUST be physical presence in Canada for citizenship. However, it does count toward meeting your residency requirements to maintain PR.

PR and citizenship are two different things. Be careful not to get them confused.

Think of it like this:

In one instance you can say I AM CANADIAN.

In the other, you can't say that but you are very welcome to drink our beer. ;D :p

Lol lol @ drinking Canadian beer ... is it shocking to admit that I can't stand beer and so stick to hard Liquor instead?? The hubby did introduce me to Rye though!
