Hi

I'm planning to bring my mother from India to Canada on PARENTS SPONSOR Program . I just want some details please

1) Her health is not good like she has diabetic & other complications so is she able to get the PR to Canada ?

2) If she come on parents sponsorship program next year, will the Canada Government provides health care for her ?

Please provide details and your suggestions

thanks
Mubeen

1) If she has significant medical issues, there's a good chance PR will be refused. CIC will classify her as medically inadmissible and deny her PR if they determine the cost of her health care will exceed $6,500 per year.

2) If she is approved for PR, yes - she will qualify for health care just like everyone else.

Hi scylla

Thanks a lot .

For getting the PR, is she required to go medicals in india after getting in new lottery system and filled complete applications forms ?

If accepted into lottery, and your last 3 years income qualifies for parents sponsorship, then when requested to do medical exam she can do it anywhere in the world as long as it's from one of the CIC physicians.
