Hello Everyone,

This is my first time in this forum and really hoping to get my questions clarified because as of now I am in a confused state of mind. To start with we are a family of three and I am the primary applicant. Me, my husband and our child got PR in May 2019. Now we came to know that we are expecting our second child who is due in Feb 2020.
At present my husband is working in a different country, atleast for two years from now he cannot go to Canada.

So basically looking for the options.
1. I understand that if the baby is born in Canada it will get the citizenship. But also understand that it takes at least three months to get medical support after landing and in present situation I cannot move with my first child and search for a job in canada. Moreover, there will be no support. So I cant go for this option.
2. If my baby is delivered outside Canada, I understand that Parents can sponsor the baby.
In that case:
- Does it mean I would have to leave my baby in India go to Canada and apply for the sponsorship?
- How long it would take?
-I assume I should get a job in the first instance to sponsor. Is that correct? Is there any minimum requirement for the time of contract or the pay?
-Or is it possible to sponsor the baby by showing enough funds without me having a job? If yes how much much?

Please advise me on this and let me know if there are any other options that I may have missed.
Thanks in Advance.

1. Depending on the province you may need to wait for 3 months to get medical coverage. There are also residency requirements to qualify to receive healthcare. You can look up each province but in general you will have to establish your permanent home in the province and remain in the province for 6+ months.

2. You can try to get a TRV or if that is refused a TRP for your baby but both may be refused. One parent would have to go to Canada and sponsor the baby. It will take 5-10months. You don’t need a job but you will need to show proof that you can support yourselves without government help. You can only sponsor someone if you are meet you RO.
