Google "pdf reducer" its what I did for my trv application. There is plenty of free software who works really goodImABule said:Hey Mikeymyke, sort of off topic, was gonna DM you but your answer would probably help others too... How did you reduce the file size to meet the 3.5MB maximum while still providing so many docs?
I'm putting together a TRV application as we speak, but I have no hope in hell of fitting everything I want to submit.
My wife used Photoshop to put all the files together into a single .gif or .jpeg file. She kept lowering the picture quality of that single file until it was under 3.5 MB. If the pic quality was too bad, then we would check to see if we can delete anything that's not necessary. She went to extremes such as cropping off portions of documentation that were blank or unimportant, in order to reduce the file size.ImABule said:Hey Mikeymyke, sort of off topic, was gonna DM you but your answer would probably help others too... Thanks man, I'm including a lot of stuff but I'm not sure it will be approved because my wife does not own a house and she's unemployedmikeymyke said:My wife used Photoshop to put all the files together into a single .gif or .jpeg file. Good on you for sending a lot of documentation, it's very important to improve the chances of her getting the TRV.

For me it was Bangkok VO
I think you should apply the TRV by online because it's faster.Scotia87 said:Thanks to all who have replied with some great info.
I think we will wait until after my September visit to decide what we want to do about the TRV or just wait it out to apply for the PR after the wedding in January.
I'm sure you all know the feelings we are having right now. All we want is to be together without having to travel half way around the world every couple of months.
Thanks for your input.Gopekob said:I think you should apply the TRV by online because it's faster.
We applied for my TRV 28 Dec (at night) got approve 31 Dec(morning)
I only submitted the letter from by boss ,
my husband invitation(before b/f) to show how is your relationship with her and how do you gonna look after her for 2 weeks.
and more details.
Btw, I have US visa(maybe help)
Next step is PR (pray to Buddha )
Hope your g/f will get it
Never said too much work. Trust me I'm willing to do what I have to do to get her here. Either with a TRV or once we are married a PR. I was simply stating that the amount of forms, documents and letters are a bit overwhelming once you see them all. She's definetly worth the amount of time it's going to take to do this.Gopekob said:Yes too much work but not even 1% of PR.
