am in same situation as yours. My TRV is valid till may2015. But my contract with the employer ends next month end. I would like to apply for BOWP. Please enlighten us.
Did you apply online?
What was the timeframe for receiving BOWP.

Write a cover letter explaining your job will end soon and your current closed WP is tied to it. It's better to have a new job offer so you can show a reason to need the BOWP, but there are people who got it w/o a new job offer. So it appears random and totally depends on how lenient the visa officer is.

Is there option to upload Cover letter online or option of cover letter is available only in paper filing.

I'm pretty sure you can upload a cover letter online. I'm not sure which one but either there is an option for it, or you can upload it as "Other documents"..

vpathakg could you please send me the link for online bowp. When I tried applying online after answering all questionnaire it showed me you can apply as student. Did you receive anything like that.

I am in the same boat. My WP will expire in Jan 2015 and I may have to apply for BOWP for myself and my spouse. I am waiting to get into the 4 months window.

I would suggest anyone who can afford the wait: Wait until you are in the 4 month window.

Of course if you can afford the money, it doesn't hurt to shell out $150 to give it a try. (Or is it $155 now? ) Especially for those who would get a nicer job with the BOWP, it's definitely worth a try.
