Hi everyone,
In my case I applied online for the BOWP on May 20 and I have not received any update. I have notice that there is sort kind of delay with the Work permits.

Hey Guys,

BOWP approved on 28 August.

How long did it take for BOWP to reach in the mail for the approved ppl?

I applied BOWP on 25 June any idea when can I expect it ? Aor 23 rd April ,current permit expiring on 2nd of October.

Received BOWP approval yesterday, waiting for physical document to arrive.

I am in Canada, my current visa is expired, I want to apply for TRV so that I can travel outside Canada and come back.

I am checking processing time for TRV on cic here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...vices/application/check-processing-times.html
Which option is right one,
1. Temporary Residence (Visiting, Studying, Working) -> Visitor Visa (from Inside Canada) -> 8 days
2. Temporary Residence (Visiting, Studying, Working) -> Work Permit -> Canada -> 8 Weeks

Is it #1 or #2 for applying TRV after BOWP within Canada?

Has anyone gone through applying TRV after BOWP approval, wondering what is the realistic timelines for TRV?

Mee to looking for same information. As I have to travel to INDIA in Nov.

Did you receive the BOWP approval? had you tried calling CIC to check the reason for late processing? I applied on May 15 and also waiting.

I called immigration regarding the hold up. Our PR application has not passed R10 for some reason that was unknown to the agent. As a result my BOWP has not commenced because I guess we are only eligible for BOWP if we have submitted a full and complete PR application. A bit nervous as to why we haven't passed R10. The general processing time for that (EE FSW) at the moment seems to be about 45-50 days and we are at about 135 days.
