BOWP - September 2015 Applicants

I don't get it either. Waiting for my 2nd BOWP, too. Getting a 2nd BOWP is basically just living on as if nothing ever happened... I don't know why it takes so long now. :-X

I feel the same – I’m an Aug 2014 applicant. I’m a lawyer, although not an immigration lawyer, and my interpretation of the new rules are that we are still eligible to apply for BOWP. I think it’s just a mix of anxiety and CIC delays that are fueling our doubt.

I applied for PR in August 2014 and decided to apply for BOWP on Sept 24th 2015 when my temporary work permit was about to expire. I have been approved for BOWP on Jan 26th 2016.
I was sure I would have to wait another month under implied status because on the CIC website it showed that they were still working on august 28 applications...for once I was positively surprised!

I and my wife are Sept 22nd BOWP applicants.
Our CEC application was done on 15th Aug, 2014; AOR on 5th Dec; and MR on 14th June, 2016.

We are still waiting for our BOWP. Not sure what's happening. :
I am seeing some applicants got their BOWP approved although they applied after.
Did anyone talk to CIC about what's happening?

It was an online application. Checked the status online. Nothing new.

Don't even try to call CIC about this ... they will tell you, they are currently working on Sep 3 applicants as mentioned on the website. That's it.

I am Sepetember 29 bridge work permit applicant. Yesterday I got email regarding update in my application. When I open my cic account it still shows in process. Today I call to call center and I was told it has been approved and will be mailed to me soon. But I have not received any approval email yet.

Great! When did you apply for PR? I assume your BOWP was an online application.

I am August 1 applicant. I received medical request in april 17, 2015.

I did apply my bowp online.

I haven't received any email or status in my cic account says it has been approved.
