Seemed there was a bit of activity there. I'm not sure the processing times are particularly accurate, it appears to be a bit random.

Just keep in mind...BOWP approvals are coming based on how your PR application is going..

If you got MR & your application is going smoothly, you would be getting BOWP approval fast..otherwise you have to wait...like we are...I applied for BOWP on Nov 29 & waiting...

Interesting approach for them - I would have thought they'd be more concerned about people being on implied status in the country for long periods of time. No health care etc etc

I applied for my 2nd bowp In nov 2015 by paper application, app was recev nov 6 n 2nd bowp was approved feb 18 2016 n got it the mail today. I'm a sep 8 2014 cec application still waiting for medical request

Just keep in mind...BOWP approvals are coming based on how your PR application is going..

If you got MR & your application is going smoothly, you would be getting BOWP approval fast..otherwise you have to wait...like we are...I applied for BOWP on Nov 29 & waiting...

Same thing happened to me, I received email confirmation of BOWP on 5th Feb and then I received MR on 7th Feb. So that means your meds are about to come in couple days...

I applied my bowp work permit on Nov 5th. My lawyer just forwarded the the approval letter from cic. In the email they mentioned that they have already mailed my work permit on 23rd Feb.

How long it will take to arrive by mail? any idea?

Received my BOWP yesterday from or Lawyer but it had been approved since March 9/2016....

I received an update today in my cic account telling me my BOWP application has been approved and the application is now closed.

I was surprised because I applied on January 20th, so it has only been a two month wait!

I was expecting to get my PR first to be honest, but I'm pleasantly surprised.

I read that I should have a message in my inbox telling me more but I have not received that yet.
