BOWP - May Applicants

May 15th applicant and still waiting. Called CIC today and CC agent said I should hear back something in 10 calendar days. Lets see what happens.

My employer's internal policies states 'I can't work on implied status as employer didn't applied for my WP extension' - total BS. Just hoping I will get my approval before Sep 30th otherwise I can't work any longer for current employee.

When I called called CIC, the agent kept repeating the old IVR message (Currently we are processing application till May 5) and was not in a mood to listen further. Did the agent tell you why this is being delayed?

They have updated the timeline. Now 120 days up from 114 days.

And only working on May 6th applications. Was May 5th previously. What are they doing in there?

exactly same answer I heard...... they are still dealing with applicants on May 5th BUT it seems like some people even May 18th are approved

They are speeding up for study permit extension recently I guess due to students are backing to school so obviously taking less care on us. Students are their top priority now. I am still waiting (May 11 online) without much patience left. The waiting is such a nightmare.

Wondering if they will put online more then 120 days. Somehow that doesn't make sense as for BOWP is made to be applied within 120 days.
All this delays will produce hundreds of ppl in implied status which is totally bad. People lose medicals, cannot leave country, some of them even lose their jobs. Are they showing their system is working great?? Really good election campaign for them

Yes, processing time is now 120 days. This is based on Last update is Sep 4 2015. The working on date is May 6th, means they are working on applications from May 6th onwards (Completed till May 5th). We see that applicants of May 7, May 11 and even May 18 got approvals. That may possibly mean that CIC is not completing an application of a particular date before proceeding to the next date.

I believe applicants after may 6 just have to wait. But applicants before may 6 should get in touch with CIC to find out whats happening.

should they also not add some more "MONTHS" to the timeline of "WHEN PEOPLE CAN APPLY FOR BOWP" ?

why are they holding all of us cec applicants from last year ?

is it possible to submit the application a few days before you are left with 4 months on your WP ?

which was 6th May yesterday as well but with update date of Sep 4 so that means nothing happened for one more week.

But they forgot to update the 120 days processing time. Now with respect to sep 11 update with may 6th application processing time should be 128 days. So now processing time went beyond 4 months for the first time

does bowp belongs to "new employer" or "same employer"? my app by paper received on June 8th and wondering when will they process my case
