BOWP - March Applicants

I am March 16 paper applicant and received my work permit today in Mail.
Exactly 102 days it took but good thing I got it with an year extension.

Still nothing Sak? Are we the last ones at this stage? This is ridiculous!
I'm out of the country on vacation at the moment so technically have lost Implied Status.
So I'm really worrying I wont have it by the time I return (July 12th).

Have you called them recently?

Abbas I have called them 2 times and both the times they said they are not processing my application yet. And they have their website to quote which still says March 21st.. You should be calling them already as you are way past the deadline even if you applied on Paper.. They should have an answer..

I have called them twice and both the times they said they are not processing my application yet. And they have their website to quote which still says March 21st..

I have called them many times and all they did is sending the request to process my request and now they cant do anything for 90 days. The call center people are useless.

There are people who applied march 30th and they have got their permits, so definitely something is wrong and they are not addressing my request

This is crazy, iffact folks from 2nd week of April are getting it now..
I understand how frustrating it must be for you.. It looks like I am headed to where you are right now. Probably by end of this week they will go beyond 23rd of March and if I dont get it till then, god help me! By the way did you apply online?

I applied online.. My application vanished from the system soon after I applied and than I called cic and I was told that my application is under process.. I tried to find my application for months but I couldn't until I was able to link it back on my account.. I presume my application was missed by the officer and I can't do anything about it..

For all those who are having the unusual delays, its worth to reach out to your local Member of Parliament (you can get his/her email online). Explain them your situation and they might be able to help you.

P.S - my MP did respond to my email and help me check the status of my app

Last night got one of those mystery "Your application has been updated" emails. However, no changes to my application yet.
