I think you should call them!! Someone applied on April 07 already received approval. that is brutal! I lost faith in CIC day by day..

Did you see the website. June 9th update working on March 21st application process time is now 89 days. This is ridiculous ??? :'(

Hi All,

I am March 20 Applicant and finally today I called CIC Call center and asked about the status of my application. They said my application was approved on March 18th and the hard copy of my WP has been dispatched via snail mail to my representative.

My representative has not yet received the copy of the WP. I hope they receive it by today or tomorrow.

Hello Guys

I just got email saying that my BOWP application has been approved till june 22/2016. I ll get the actual document in mail. I applied on April 07/2015.

I suggest all march applicants to call CIC if they are still waiting on BOWP. GOOD LUCK!

I think you should call them!! Someone applied on April 07 already received approval. that is brutal! I lost faith in CIC day by day..

Kimchill I would love to call them but I know they will not give me anything.. The last update says 21st March, they will say its not your time yet.. It doesn't help if I tell them that 7th April guys have been approved.. I called them last week saying I have already exceeded the 83 day timeline but they asked me to wait..

Folks, just a reminder, that online applications and the paper ones are having two different streams with different timelines.

When you mention your date here, specify if you are doing it via online or paper.

IMO, 3 months for a one year renewal piece of paper is just so long! It is really ridiculous!

Thanks! I still haven't got any update from my representative about receiving the had copy of my WP.

I wonder how long does it take a hard copy WP to travel from Ottawa to Vancouver by regular mail..So frustrating...
