BOWP - How many of you have applied and received it successfully?

i have applied OINP THRU CEC. waitng for my AOR. MY work permit will finish in jun 2016. please let me know if i will be able to get BOWP. REALLY WORRIED ???

Once you apply for your BOWP, you can keep working even after your work permit gets expired. It is called implied status.

I received an email from cic today telling me my application had been updated.

When I logged in to my account I had no new messages, however when I checked the status of my application it was changed to closed, and below it said my application has been approved.

I was surprised because I applied only two months ago, on January 20th.

I am still waiting for the message to come in my inbox though.

I also submitted cover letter, wp, pnp nomination and aor.

You might get closed work permit or may be open work permit (if you have specified BOWP word in your coverletter). I dont see any chance of rejection.

As long as you selected open work permit you should be fine. My colleague also filled out all her current employer details in the application but still got an open work permit

I applied May 27 for the BOWP. I received a message from CIC yesterday saying that my application was approved and today I received a PDF letter explaining that the permit will be mailed to me and that I should receive it within the next six weeks

Usually you get WP by mail almost a week after online Approval.

I applied online for BOWP on May 31st. Got the approval letter on June 24th.
I am yet to receive the document in mail.
