BOWP - How many of you have applied and received it successfully?

I just applied my BOWP online but I forgot to submit a copy of my PGWP and my AOR....I have mentioned my AOR No. in the explanation letter though. Do u think I have to submitte my copy of PGWP and AOR via email to CIC now..?

Did you not include your work permit with your passport PDF?

AOR not being there is okay, provided you have referenced your UCI and CEC Application Number.

Hi everyone, I'm in a situation right now where I applied for a bowp and received back on Oct 28. I applied before my open work permit expired. I sent my cec application at the beginning of September and have not received an aor. My cheque was cashed on nov 27. They have yet to give out aor's for half of the August people.. And by the time they open up my package(I did include a letter) I'm worried now an aor will not be received... Do you think emailing them will help? Or would they know that aor's are outside their turnaround time and be nice enough to wait.. I know a lot of others are in the same predicament as me. Any thoughts?

I do not know of any instance where they have asked for medical for BOWP.

I have applied on 30 September and they receive on 1october. I am also surprised when I got BOWP and on website showing current date is 8 September for Paper based application. So, website are not up to date.

Just Checked my application status in My CIC and surprized to see all three of my applications (My BOWP, My Spouse's Open Work Permit and my Child's 'Visitor Record') are in "Approved" status.

Have no clue when was it approved. Usually the system will send notifications when there is a change in status or a new message. CIC has approved the applicatins but not updated the messages, still shows the old two messages posted during the Application Submission and Application Transmission "In Process" stages. Strange!!!

Now my question is How will i receive my documents? Will I get the hard copy of the documents to my home address or just the soft copies to my email? can someone answer, please?

Gr8 SVB, I think U R going to get the permits through mail to your residence.

I applied on 3rd and still waiting. When I checked myCIC it does not say anything and got blocked. I have to try now this afternoon after 24 hrs. The website asks so many questions and just does not show any results for me. mine was applied through Employer.
