I have applied BOWP for me and TRV for my wife(who is in India), somehow my BOWP got approved and I am waiting for my wife's TRV approval.

I applied on July 11th and today (Aug 6) when I checked online, I found that my application is approved and application status is closed. My existing WP was expiring on Nov 15 this year. I was hesitant initially to apply few days ahead of the 4 month deadline, but I must consider myself lucky or CIC might have ignored as it was too close to the 4 month deadline. Anyway, just want to share my experience guys. Good luck to all who have applied and Congrats to all who have received.

I'm about to send my BOWP Application but I have one question in mind.

On the form IMM5710 Employment, do I need to include the employment gaps for the past ten years? Is it okay to attach an extra page as the space is not sufficient? I just need a confirmation from those who went through the application. Bunch of thanks.

I'm not sure why it's asking this - perhaps you could share your answers for the preceding questions? In particular, at some point you should have been asked whether you have applied for permanent residence, and that you have been told you are eligible (select "Yes" - in this context, what they're really asking is do you have an AOR)

Worker. You can only apply for a BOWP if you have a current work permit that is due to expire within four months.

(sorry, just saw the "family member" part - anyone else have an idea on this?)

For #3, it depends on their current status: are they just tourists or holders of WP/SP? I used one of these for my spouse/dependents.

spouse - open work permit (SOWP), dependant child ( open work permit), dependant child (study permit)

We choose to apply all the same time as family because we all have the same expiry date together. I'm the principal applicant applying for BOWP.

we are exactly the same requirements as i have filing online application today with my family except that i have additional firms for my daughter's study permit (18 yrs old).

When I completed the tool to apply, and updated the code to my CIC, under Optional Documents is Upload Schedule 1, but no document is supplied to upload so can I leave this blank?

Also I need to submit the form Statutory Declaration Of Common Law for my partner and I, but will this need supporting evidence as when we applied for permanent residency? On the 'Help' pop up it says you do, but was wondering if this is just generic or not?

While filling IMM5710E for my spouse (she was in Visitor permit now applying first time Open WP) in section "DETAILS OF INTENDED WORK IN CANADA, SECTIONS.. 2,3,4,5,6,7 " what I should Fill ? Should i leave it blank as she don't have any Offer as of now and she need to find job once Open WP approve.
Or just write Not applicable

Looks good to me, as i recently applied for self, wife and kid.
Moreover should i upload photoes of mine only.What about my wifes?
I included my wife's photo in supporting document section.
what about AOR.where should i upload that?
No AOR to be included, just write a covering letter and mention your AOR number. They will definitely pull your records based on your UCI number.

No additional documents required. Ensure you write a detailed covering letter.
