BOWP - How many of you have applied and received it successfully?

I am applying for BOWP in this week. I have all the document and I am applying online. I have read the background section on the new updates..... please refer this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/work/prov/bridging.asp

Do I need to apply for an LMO for bridge open work permit under the new rule... Please read the background section and reply me please.... I really appreciate your help... I am just bit confused...

on the requirement section, the eligibility criteria still the same. So I am just hoping I dont need an LMO to apply for BOWP.

I have my file number which I got the email from CIC.

no, you do not need a LMO for the BOWP.

I applied online with spouse & kid. The delay was caused by the entry error on the part of the officer. I just have to surrender it to CIC office.

Can you please let me know, at what time did you apply on Jul 05. Did you get any alerts from CIC before BOWP is approved.

Applying for BOWP without AOR (acknowledgement) number is quite risk. I have read in this forum that few lucky ones got it. You can just give a try as its a matter of $155.

You cannot apply for your family as the rule says the applicant should be in Canada. Hope this info helps.

Thanks alot Wonderclicks ,ofcourse $155 is not a problem but in case if I will be refused than will it effect anything if I apply in future .In future when I get AOR and apply for bridge permit than there will be any problem ?

I applied on July 5th around 9PM as well.
No I dis not get anything from CIC.
Yesterday I checked my case online and I saw it was approuved.
And I get the confirmation email today.

Is the copy of receipt of the application of BOWP enough to show to the employer? do they keep a copy? or I must give them the whole application?

hi i have some questions for the guys who applied for bowp online ....i have applied for CEC and waiting on my AOR .....

1. what would you like to do in canada ??? should i select move there or work ??

2. How long are you planning to stay in canada ?? permanently or more than 6 months ??
