BOWP delay?

Nope nothing, I had to call them to find out. It's been approved on Oct 2, Im still waiting for it to show up in the mail.

I also raised a Case specific enquiry few days ago, before I called them, and I never got any response.

R10 is eligibility check, they are checking if all your application package is complete and if you actually qualify for the program you applied for. Once that is done, they will proceed with BOWP.
When did you apply for BOWP? Online or on paper?

Yes I was on PGWP for 3 years, which expired on June 24, 2017

You have to be currently working in Canada under valid WP, and have application for PR in process. Technically you have to have received AoR to apply for BOWP, but in some cases like mine, I could not wait so I applied before I got AOR and sent it to them when I got it, and BOWP eventually got approved.

Oh great!! So also do we have apply before 6 mnths of Wp expiry or even earlier is better? And how hong is that new bowp granted for?

You have to wait until 4 months to expiry, they wont accept it earlier. I applied 20 days before mine expired. I dont know how long it's good for, I havent received mine yet

I had applied on July 6 and its online application.
actually I applied on April 12 and wp expiry date is July 7,cic rejected my bowp without any valid reason PNP restricted but its not.
so I had submitted CSE and wait for their reply and they said decision is correct and I have to reapply.
so I applied again on 6th july

I called cic today and they said R10 not started yet. my BOWP is on hold status since sep 28.
does anyone know how long they take after status on hold?

Update from me: called Cic today, the lady said my work permit has been approved and has been mailed to me on Oct 2nd (like 10 days ago). Should be arriving sometime next week (unless it's lost in the mail or delivered to wrong address!)

Once again, I applied by paper on June 7.

Me. I saw you applied BOWP first and submitted AOR later. How did you do this ? Did you apply by mail ? And submit AOR later ? My PGWP expiring soon. Please help !!
