Here is the link for application. I know there has been a chaos about the recently updated eligibility criteria for BOWP applications. So far we have seen only one rejection due to new rules, as per this forum. I am going to apply anyhow on 5th or 6th December 2015.

Anyone, if gets any update on these new rules from a lawyer, can please share the update here, as it can be helpful for others ? I did not consult any lawyer for my pr application, so don't have any one to consult for this application. I am an August 2014 CEC applicant.

I did complete my BOWP application and submitted it, received a ghost email today. The check list only stated the application form, copy of PP, letter of explanation.

My current PGWP is due to expire in March. I will post here as soon as I get any update on my BOWP application.

i did not mention any link in the letter. i just provided my pr application details and a copy of my current WP.

they increased the processing time for online applications, but there was a reduce in processing days for paper application.

any idea if it will be good to withdraw the online application and then submit a paper one ?

can i submit a paper application without withdrawing my online application for BOWP ?

My PGWP expires Jan 16th, 2016.

Work permit expires march 3,2016. showed i cancel my BOWP applicaation, and apply 1 week before it expires

Guys

I applied for my BOWP for my wife and I in September 2015. I know we are both eligible for one year on the BOWP as I have completed my 3 years on the post graduate work permit- my spouse is on my dependent.

Looking at the current timelines, my hunch is I may have to apply for a second BOWP sometime next year if CEC still holds me up and there is no decision made. This is the worst case scenario , I want to be prepared for.

Can you please advise if I will get a second BOWP , if so then for what duration after completing 4 full years of work in Canada

My online application form does not have an option for , I'm applying for "an open work permit". It has "An initial work permit or for a new employer". What do you select?

what form # do you have ?

for open wp , you do not need to specify the employer - you can select new employer.

please provide the form number.
