BOWP application issues

this might be a really stupid question:
I`m having problems uploading the application form on to the website - it gets stuck at about 34% upload. The file is CIC`s application form so it`s under 1mb - well under the 4mb limit.
I`m wondering if anyone else had problems

Try again a little later. Had the same issue when uploading WP forms.
Also, try updating your browser, or try a different one. ( ie firefox, chrome, internet explorer or safari ).

Thanks - good to know it`s not just me. I was trying last night as well on Chrome and IE but neither were working then on now. I also updated my Chrome. I guess I`ll have to keep trying
DId you also happen to have that thing where you Validated the forms, got the barcodes, then saved it so you could upload it only to find that while the barcodes were still there, the Validation box was back to No

Back when I applied for my WP that online system was fairly new and I couldn't check
the forms after uploading them.
So if you validate the forms, save them and then upload them I wouldn't worry about that field
saying 'No'. That's all you can do anyway, and you can always call the call center later on and check with
them to verify that all documents reached their destination and tell them about technical issues or so.

the forms after uploading them.
So if you validate the forms, save them and then upload them I wouldn't worry about that field
saying 'No'. That's all you can do anyway, and you can always call the call center later on and check with
them to verify that all documents reached their destination and tell them about technical issues or so.

it`s still not working for me though - I got the form to 96% upload and then it just crashed. I really don`t want to have to mail it in but I`m guessing I might have to. Nearly two days of trying and it`s just not happening. :'(

Ok, so what's happening exactly? Is it just taking a long time after it hits 96% or
does your browser actually crash? Like is it freezing?

it uploads very slowly - sometimes it`s gets as far as 96%, sometimes only to 13% - time varies -maybe 5 minutes sometimes, others 10 minutes. Then the page looks like it`s crashed - it just says unable to open page.

OOOOOOOOOOH - just got to 100% and the page went to Error 502 and kicked me out of the app.

I have a feeling it might be my internet but we have a good speed here - I`m wondering if it`s worth trying a Starbucks but I actually suspect that would be worse. This is so frustrating!

Any tips welcome!

Sounds a lot like your internet connection. I could throw in a bunch of techie words like timeout and sh*t, but
it might be a good idea to try a Starbucks or maybe a friends internet connection?

Try to upload your application for BOWP a bit later. It might be some kind of maintenance. I had experienced access issues a couple weeks ago with mine.

Massive thanks people - I was loading up the docs on to my laptop to take to the local Starbucks and thought I'd give it one last try at home.
Every document loaded within 30 seconds.

I applied for bowp in July, my aor was received two weeks ago but I have not received a reply to my bowp application. I phoned the call centre, and they said it was still under review. He's anyone else waited this long?
