Hi Everyone!!
In my case, me and my common law both are eligible to apply under CEC category, my question is who should be the principal applicant in our case.
My partner has worked in the same company for one year, but I worked in different companies in a year. My IELTS band is 7.5 and my partner's is 6.
Now, we have one joint bank account which is since 1.5 years but we donot use it more often.
In the lease, my partner is the lease holder and I am stated as occupant.
I am added to my partner's car insurance policy and we both have our names added as a beneficiary to our life insurance policy.
We have not added each other's name to company's health benefit policy yet.
In this year's tax file for 2012, we both mentioned as single. I can change this status with CRA but I already have got my assessment letter from CRA.

There is so much confusion, can someone please help me out with this situation or advise me some good lawyers in toronto who can give me a consultation?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in Advance!!
