re: sa imo funds, naa ko nabasa sa forum nga pwede ra ang bank cert, imo lang e reason nga mahadlok ka modala ug cash, then transfrable ang imo money unya didto sa canada once naka open nka ug acct...and of course, ampo pod nga matunong ka sa immig officer nga dili ra strikto ug madala ra sa imo charm and wit ;D

and keep ur cool, remember mo reflect ra ba na sa looks kung tense ka 8)

correct! they got cameras and probably high-tech sensors sa immigration area. i've seen one filipino, murag na randomly gi lisud lisud kay ning hilak man toh... i don't know what happened, I don't how to help and was keeping that emotion away pud kay para dili ko ma rattle ug samot.

suit up, dress up and brush up few minutes before landing... and once mu land namo, kung wala mo dala bata... pwede ra jud nga magdali... i swear, mas maka wala sa kulba kung kamo ang una sa pila sa immigration (we made it there as the 4th family) sa likod mi sa plane ga lingkod but ga overtake jud mi ug ubang taw...

3. issue a cheque to (them) him total of 700,000 post-dated on the day of your flight!
4. once ma abot na ang bank cert for 800,000... then withdraw your own 100,000 the next day.
5. convert your own money to CAD cold cash!
6. once you land, you'll have a bank cert nga 800,000 and cash worth around 2,300 CAD.
7. Inig abot nimo diri... then ma withdraw na sa imong (mga) kaila ang (ilang) iyang money and im pretty sure dissolve dayon imong account sa pinas.
8. bayad na ang utang and ning balik na (ilang) iyang wa warts.

well, im not sure kung OK ra ang bank cert (agen by experience wala mi pangita-i, so I cannot say about it) But in the case nga wala na jud ma hems.... then mas maayo nalang duna bank cert, AT LEAST, duna ika bala! daghan ko nabasahan nga dili daw maayo ang bank cert... ambot oi libog ko. But kung sayon ra tong steps nga akong gi post, din buhata nalang kaysa wala jud bala.

in converting pesos to CAD, yes, naa sa Cebu, but not in the bank! alkanse

there's this money exchanger "ALCO" (i hope i get the name right), nga naa likod sa Jollibee sa mango avenue (dapit sa F Ramos), you just have to call them (or go there and balikan lang) kung magpa-ilis mo ug Canadian dollars - especially kung dako dako... I'm not endorsing them, but the time nga nag pailis mi... i went to three money exchangers and they were the best deal. Ning adto mi, gi pa balik ra mi ug isa ka oras (kay gi kuha pa nila sa ilang gamhanang vault) then na pa ilis namo ang cash ug tag 100 CAD bills, pakapini gamay ug tag 20 para dili mag lisod inig abot diri. 20CAD is the acceptable bill in most convenient stores, taxi, fastfoods, etc... kung 100 CAD imong dala, its like mu palit ka ug candy sa metro gaisano nya imong gi tunol kay one thousand tibook.
