@ mimi0713: wala man, wala man mi pangita-i ug any docs during landing. so far the only docs nga gikan sa pinas
landing = passport and COPR
employer = softcopy sa passport
that's it. However, wala ko ma worried sa NBI namo kay when we came here wala pa ma expire among NBI clearances, one month pa to go. we arrived here less than a year before sending the full docs to manila.
LTO... pwede mana ma kuha sa Cebu ang certification of driving history and gamit nila is the letterhead sa Quezon! hehehehe, agen, na swertehan jud mi adto. when you go to LTO region 7,ayaw mo ug pangutana ug sekyo or fixer, adto mo diretso sa right side dayon, didto sa mag apply ug bag-ong driver's license. its the new extension office sa region 7. dili mu ka sulod kay mangutana man ang sekyo, just ask him nga mu apply ka ug certification. then you'll be talking to someone nga tig distribute ug form... tell him/her nga certificate of driving history para abroad, tagaan ka nila ug form... then he will tell you kung kinsa sunod pangutan-on... then sa counter ask for someone nga kama-o mu himo ug certification para abroad... then they'll point you to someone... and just tell them you're going to Canada and just smile. They'll know. if mu react gani sya nga "unsa nah?" then meaning, dili nah nga mao nga taw and agen, look for someone nga kabalo.
Na swertehan mi, we applied for the the LTO certification five days before mi ning larga, tapos ning balik mi the next day to get the paper and it was the correct one... naka print jud nga letterhead sa quezon, plus gi butang pa nga 3 years na ang driving history.
I have a friend in Calgary nga nangutana namo just recently, and this was the steps that we gave... naka kuha sya through one of his friend back in cebu.
