Hello everyone,
I am already living in Canada with my Canadian citizen husband. I am applying for PR under the family class, and one of the requirement on the chicklist is to submit my birth certificate. My question is, I do not have my birth certificate neither I do know where I can find it. My dad used to carry them, but he passed away 20 yeas ago and some of the valid documents has lost forever including my birth certificate
.
MY question is: Is it possible to write an explanation letter about the situation to the CIC and include it on my package? I M afraid if I do that my application will be returned due to the missing birth certificate?
Does anyone has similar experience?
I truly appreciate any help
