Hi

I m from India and I don't have birth certificate as my birth was not registered. Can anyone please advise which documents i can submit for an alternate of birth certificate.

please please advice

birth certificate is an important document.. along with your application kit, other documents like passport, and other educational certificates carry your birth date and year. though this is a critical document, one should ensure they has this ready when applying for immigration.

Buddy if in India possible within 10 days.many applicantsgot rejected coz of birth certificate.so don't think of taking a chance.

It took about a month for me to get the Birth Certificate in Bangalore. I went to the office where
they register Births/Deaths and met a Advocate in the compound who got it done for me for Rs.1500
First he filed a affidavit sort of thing stating that i was born at home and then i had to go to court
to testify(i had to go to court twice).

If you have not done this yet, i suggest you get started at the earliest. You will need your SSLC marks
card and residence proof.

Get in touch with the hospital where you were born or the local village panchayat or tahsil. The process looks to be taking atleast close to a month. In my case, my name was not there on my birth certificate and also it is not in English. So, I am re-applying for an english version of birth certi. Lets see how many days it takes ::)

A member got his document returned with this message.
If you are unable to provide a birth certificate or secondary school records that indicate your date of birth and parentage, please provide an affidavit that has the following information: 1) Name of Client 2) Date of Birth of Client 3) Parents name (Mother, Father or both is acceptable)

Dont go without Birth certi. its very essential document. Without it file can be rejected.
In india there are many ways to get birth certi, from which region u want certificate ? May be i can provide any alternative way ...

You can provide "affidavit for birth" with confidence. Me & my spouse were not having birth certificates so we applied with affidavits for birth. I have done medicals & waiting for PPR
