Birth Certificate - Affidavit.

Hello, Due to issues with my BC, I am getting an Affidavit done in India through my parents. Do I need to submit the Original Affidavit copy or a copy of an affidavit should be fine? Bcoz I have to ask them to mail it in case I need to submit originals.
