Biometrics Request Received - But not getting appointment within time frame given

Hi,

I applied for visitor visa for my parents and my parents got Biometrics request letter. They have to go for Biometrics within 30 days from the time they received that letter.
But when we checked for the latest appointment for Biometrics in Chennai VAC (closest to our location), the latest they have is after 45 days. Did anyone come across this situation and what we need to do now?

I was in similar situation. Latest available was at 37 days or so.

I sent a a web form query but did not get any response.

Parents went to appointment, VfsGlobal did biometric without any problems.

On IRCC website, now it shows biometric has been received.

I'm trying to book an online appointment for my mom's visitor visa in Chennai VAC (Category: submit application with biometrics) and no dates are showing as available for booking (October, November, December...). I even tried for 2022, 2023..Could it be something wrong with the system ?

Maybe some issue with the online system. I have booked for my parents for 12th Nov to go for Biometrics and I got confirmation letter from VAC, Chennai as well.

It has been extended to 60 days. IRCC is aware of wait times for biometrics in India.
