Hello friends, I have the appointment to do the Biometrics but I lost my passport, will I have problems for not having the passport?
I'm sure you will have problems, did you already notify them about this? Do they know you have lost it? If they do this may help you a bit. But going there for your biometrics and telling them you have lost it they may see this as you trying to hide your passport from surrounding it to them.

Hi
I got an invitation for the biometric appointment next week in Vancouver office. I have one child, should I take her with me to the IRCC as I don’t have anyone to take care of her. Thank you

no one is allowed except the applicant inside you should arrange for a daycare for that day only for few hours

If not, then you can explain to them that no body was available to take care of him

Says who? Their instructions? Have you ever been there and refused your child to go inside? That is not true. I went there with my child and no body said one single word.

You can take her with you and don't leave her anywhere else. I took my child with me a couple weeks ago and no body said anything about it (my child was crying out loud as well). They do understand how people are suffering from financial crisis and inflation. Plus, not everyone has family to take care for their children. Take 4 passport sized photos and your home country passport, they will seize your passport and any other home country documents you give them they will seize it too.

After you did the biometrics, they tell you (we will contact you after about 4 weeks). So after a couple weeks or about one month they will send you another notice for another interview, this time it is called Eligibility Interview, they will give you the brown paper same day, but for the work permit usually will be sent to you by mail in a month or so. Some people got it after two weeks. Don't worry everything will go through as soon as biometrics is done the rest will come afterwards.

They did to me. My mother in law and my child went they said can you leave and your child. I said she cannot speak English and i have no one to take care of child so they said ok

Plus in the letter it clearly stated only person in this letter is allowed in office

I just guess it depends where your appointment is
