Biometric without passport

Hello everyone. I just received biometric letter where they gave me 30 days to complete it. But the problem is I do not have my passport right now, I will have it in like 4-6 weeks. Can I ask for extension to do biometric based on this reason? Thank you

Yes. Just write a webform. Don't expect an answer from IRCC to the webform.

They are not very strict with these deadlines esp in covid time - but they definitely won't reject if there's a webform with a reason (and the delay not excessive).

Thank you for reply. Are they going to send other biometric instructions or is it okay if I will go with initial letter?

Initial letter fine. You might be wise to book it before you get your passport back, i fyou're comfortable you'll get it before too long.
