Biometric Issue or not?

Hi,

My parents have applied for visitor visa in December 2020, and gave biometric in July 2021. There has been no update on the file.
Last month I raised GCMS notes to check where the application is stuck, and one thing which might be an issue is biometrics.

For my father, the biometric status shows that Biometrics are Poor Quality.
It also shows as an exception for fingerprint, but they also give an override reason as AGE.

I am not sure, whether they have considered my father's biometrics or do I need to give again. Can someone help me with the next steps please? @legalfalcon @cansha @Bryanna

There is no update on the application as well, where they mention anything about biometric.

Also, I had submitted TRV on the new portal on Sep 26th (where they mention that they will provide an update in 14-30 days), but we have not heard back from them yet.

Have there been any requests to redo biometrics? Would suggest doing them again if it isn’t a very large hassle.

To redo it, how do I go about it, do I have to make a payment again - if yes, on which portal and what steps are to be followed?

May be you can use the old biometric letter.
