Biometric error- No update from visa office

Even my parents visa application name has issues and mailed to immigration already, but it seems impossible , watching the reply on this thread. Thanks for update @CanadaSet
@Bryanna since there application is in progess and will be rejected, can they reapply again, by paying new fees? Our ticket is booked for july.

I send case specific query sent few times but no response. Later received a rejection letter. I re-applied and paid fees and visa was granted within 17 days. However, since the biometric was not done during the first visa application, I requested for refund and received the refund for biometric.

Thank you for the info. After how many days post ur 1 month expiration, you got your rejection? And did ircc refunded both biometric as well as visa fee?

My application was received on Jan 6, 2019, thereafter i received the request for biometric to be done.Received rejection letter on 21st February 2019. I refund received only for biometric and it was not done..

My parents went to vfs yesterday and vfs accepted there biometric without any fuss. Hope they dont reject based on name later.

I received an update on my Express entry portal on 19 June 2019, and noticed that my last name had been updated incorrectly and the Biometris invitation I received also had my LAST NAME incorrectly spelled

When I submitted the details on the portal all my information was correct and the Acknowledgement Letter I received after submitting application form also had the correct name.

But now the Biometric Appointment has been also scheduled would they allow me to complete the Bio Metric Process ? And would the issue be resolved ??

Writing to IRCC is the only way to get answers. I wrote to them about my issue and they responded in about a week's time.

Hi Newbie! When i recived the biometric letter with me last name incomplete, I contact by e-mail the visa office of my country (Brazil). Within a week they replied that i should proceed with the biometric collection. I would suggest you to contact IRCC or send an e-mail to your country's visa office. Hope everything goes fine!

Hi! No problems, we are here to help each other!
They did not issued a new letter, they asked me to proceed with the mistakes, and on the appointment they corrected it.

I need to know that i have applied my PR application under aipp in December 2019 and i got mail from cic end of January 2020 about acceptance of my application and asked for biometrics. I have send biometrics next day is updated on gckey . My question is after submitted biometrics I received one message on gckey for pre- arrival info . After that its been 3 months, i haven’t received after update on gckey or by mail . My application is completed 80% which is showing on gckey . And showing 40 days for their estimated time of completion of application. So when i get update as not much time left as given time of application. Or its a good sign ?

no one knows how long it will take now...there are people who received decision made in march n r still waiting for passport request for 2 months now so u will have to wait but pre arrival is good sign and in these days the estimation bar does not mean anything
