Here is the funny story, we both came to Canada together but he got his PR almost a year before me. Under the old rule, I would have to wait over a year be becoming eligible, but C-6 equalized everything. This is the irony of life.
You vote for one party, your friend votes for the other, net gain Zero!

I have a similar story, people who applied before and after me got PR within a year, I had to wait three years! All due to a process change!

Talking about elections, Read today's story:

Will there be any changes of the application forms from now till Oct 11?
Most likely not, but I will try and keep this thread updated!

Not a fact, but an opinion

Thanks for this important piece of information...

In his speech he talked about days of absence - did anybody catch this?
He was referring to the abrogation of the following Bill C24 provision:
"Applicants had to be physically present in Canada for 183 days in four out of the six years preceding their application."

@Alex23

Answer to you your question "What do you guys think about processing times after bill c6? Now it looks preetty fast. Does it worth to apply under 4/6 or it will be mixed with new applicants anyway?"

is Yes, I estimate the average processing time will jump from 12 months to 18 months in next six months! If you can, rush your application!

Here's the historical data
Processing times 2015-16->2016-17-> As of now -----------> 21 Months->15 Months->12 Months

My prediction is
2015-16->2016-17-> 2018 -----------> 21 Months->15 Months->12 Months->18 Months

@medoo

Answer to you question "Should we send a Copy or the original from birth certificate translation? Thanks advance"

If the applicant is an adult, neither is needed. If the applicant is a minor, send only the copy!

You can get your US travel history here:

Hi guys,

I visited the US on 06 Dec 2016, but the border agent did a mistake and stampe the passport as 06 Nov 2016, but the date is printed well as 06/12/2016 on the I94 paper, and when I check my travel history I found the right date as 06/12/2016. Otherwise the travel history that we check online is not considered as formal paper.

Do you think there is a methode to correct this?

Any ideas or suggestions will be very appriciated

Thanks in advance

Question: what is expiry date on the i-94?

Yes, I have couple of ideas:
  • First of all, get some printouts of your i-94 right away from their website keep it in a safe place! Very important!!!
  • If your i-94 travel history is correct, that's what CBSA records will show
  • When it comes to proving RO, they match CBSA records with your Physical presence calculator. They also check the passport, but CBSA records+Your physical presence calculator+i-94 printouts will prove the correct date to whomsoever it may concern.
I am sure you know that the paper i-94 will have to be returned to CBSA someday.

Hope I answered your question...

Thanks for your reply,

The expiry date of my i-94 is June 5th 2017.

I can see my travel history, but when I ask for a copy of i-94, it tells me that there is ni i-94 for this passenger (me).

Untill now the paper i-94 is attached on my passeport, becaus ewhen I came back the candian border agent didn't take it. Have I to do somehing with it now?

Many thanks again for your efforts
