Again: It depends on the location from where you access the cic page and sometimes even on the browser you use how long it takes until you see the updates on the CIC Website. Contrary to common belief, the same page can look different for different users.

I understand that, intent is not debating here.. its rather sharing the screenshot of website so people can clam down and be happy. :)

Ill suggest users to clear their browser cache. That worked for me.

Will stay on a VISITORS VISA count towards physical presence? My wife arrived as a visitor (stayed 7 months) and then applied to become a student thereafter.

Yes she will. It does not matter whether it is a Students, Workers or Visitors Visa. They will all be counted
