well call me what you may!, Im still of the opinion that the bill will pass!!!. They can delay but they cant deny!!!....#*&^%theconservatives!!!!

What is left in the bill? they gonna tweak the revocation of citizenship and the 3/5!!!!! You think this will be the same bill?

Don't forget that both Ministers have said in the Senate that they are OPEN for amendments. So the Senate is giving already the amendments so there is nothing uncommon here.

The bill will pass.

And Punk, for future reference, the queen doesn't get involved personally.

Sounds like conservative and independent senators (combined majority) would like to amend residency requirement to 3.5/5, AND limit pre-PR residency credit to 6 months instead of 1 year.

The Minister is open for more amendments so there is no problem.

Where did you get that ? Liberals will never agree to these amendments

If you got a solid reference, please do share. 6 months here and there doesn't matter for them. Else there are tons of other places to troll. I would suggest Trump and H1B personally as it is a hot topic and also travel bans etc as US bombed Syrian bases today. They will bargain on bigger issues such as intent to reside, stripping, 180 days physical residence etc etc. As a member rightly pointed, its flexing for the next election and cons want to show their electorate that they are fighting hard to combat leftist agenda. Liberals won the Markham-Thornhill by elections vacated by McCallum whereas in Alberta, Libs have been loosing quite a bit. Plz do the math, its easy. If you play chess, you will understand, sacrificing little pawns is a norm. So if we get the shorter end of the stick, do not be surprised. Its a matter of too little too late when it comes to C6. Same happened to me during me during my PR process, when it came, I didn't give a crap as it was too little too late. My two cents worth of humble opinion.
