Will be interesting to see what roadblocks, if any, the Conservative Senators can pull off in the Clause by Clause Consideration tomorrow morning. And if ALL the Independents will really vote in favor of C-6. Here's hoping they do!

The only thing that I inferred from the committee meeting today that it is absolutely not clear what is going to happen during the meeting tomorrow.
Although, we will learn very soon :)

Hope for the best.Tmro will be the final discussion? What will happen after this stage

Not speculation: We can OFFICIALLY count Non-affiliated Senator Chantal Petitclerc as pro-C6, she retweeted me:

Sous l'ancienne loi, j'aurais pû appliquer en Juin 2016. Je me réjouis de pouvoir devenir un fier Canadien avec C6

Under the old law, I could've applied in June 2016. I'm looking forward to being able to become a proud Canadian with C6.

Well she retweets a tweet of someone who is looking forward to C6 being implemented.

No, I had my 3 years (2PR +1 of temporary permit) on June 2016.
I arrived here on visa in 2011 and became PR in 2014. So I could've applied in 2016.

Looking at the composition of committee, out of 13 (excl chair and dep chair ), there are 5 conservatives, 2 liberals, and 6 independents. Out of 6 independent senators, Don Meredith will likely be voting against. 2 Independent senators (Ratna Omidvar , and Chantal Petitclerc ) will likely be voting for the bill.

Against: 5C + 1I
For: 2L+2I

So all against need is one out of 3 independent senators to vote against for bill to fail
