For a clue about how it might go, go to the HoC website and last night's debate about Bill C-6 and read the two and a half hours plus, rambling diatribe of a speech made by Conservative Michelle Rempel, who had the gall to cite major shortcomings during the Harper years as if they were on the Liberal's watch. Everything MP Rempel said about citizenship could have been said in ten minutes, and if specifically about Bill C-6, in perhaps five. She spent the better part of an hour criticizing the Liberal's refugee policies.
Not much to do but wait and see. Warrants noting, however, there seems to be a certain degree of shamelessness underlying the nature and scope of obstructionist tactics being employed these days, which I am afraid may be in part due to some creeping nefarious influence from that nightmare happening to our south.
