Oh I'm sorry, are we bothering you? With all those exclamation marks, we can only imagine how mad you are.
I will tell everyone else to stop writing because Mr. Hey can't stand the existence of this thread.
My most sincere apologies for any inconvenience we might have caused you.
Also, I didn't know "chat rooms" now included forums. I'm really sorry we're all being so ignorant, please forgive us.

you see :D they are dreaming that c6 will become a law, after 2 readings and committee report

why your following too? are you a dreamer too :P lol

What is the expected timeline for it to become Law?? :) just confused.

here are the Status of the Bill C-6 and its progress on when it most probably be completed:

House of Commons

First Reading – February 25, 2016

Second Reading – March 21, 2016

Referral to Committee – March 21, 2016

Committee – Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration

Reporting the Bill with Amendments – May 05, 2016

Report Stage – May 17, 2016

Third Reading – June 17, 2016

Senate

First Reading – June 17, 2016

Second Reading – December 15, 2016

Referral to Committee – December 15, 2016

Committee – Standing Senate Committee on Social Affairs, Science, and Technology

…..

That’s the Bill C-6 development and hoping that it will be finished before Canada Day 2017. Most of the permanent residents are also expecting that the Citizenship Fees will be back to $300CAD from the current $530CAD. If that happens, surely this will be a great gift for everybody on the 150th Birthday of Canada.

I don't remember seeing any news/updates about fee change
and I don't know any PR expecting that change... so where is this 'most' coming from?

your guess is as good as ours...

I am really thinking so much How good is becoming citizen if citizens or PR's can have their home as Housing in Canada is so expensive. They aren't doing anything reducing the cost of Home for PR's or Citizens!! .. Sad . And Jobs are so less, limited Bus Services and medical services. Whats useful if I am unable to even afford home for myself and get a shelter and pay taxes! And unfortunately I don't have job now specially in Vancouver.. I want to move from this place and not sure which is affordable!

I always try to gather intel before posting anything which will create waves of rumors or fake news... Rest assured this is whats being discussed but NOTHING IS STONE CARVED....!
