I have exactly that same question and if we look at the pattern , a few if not a single one of all the responsible of terrorist acts in canada were dual citizens , they were most all born here.Their claim doesn't make sense constitutionally . It is indeed a 2-tier citizenship that they want to implement . Today it is terrorism , tomorrow it is cyber fraud , the following day it'll be DUI so one so fourth..
The only thing i'm thinking right now is when bill c6 will be passed and implemented let's say 2017-2018 , the next federal election is in 2019 , and conservatives end up having taking the lead again , what will happen to this bill ?

What do you want him to tell them? The minister has zero influence on how Senators think and vote. Not even those in the same party as him. At this stage, he has nothing to say about C6 because it is in the hands of the Senate.
