And another update. Just while I was writing this, the debate actually finished early. You better believe it!
They had a voice vote which (as expected) was inconclusive. They will have the actual standing vote tomorrow after Question Period (that should be around 3 pm).
The bill will therefore leave the HoC tomorrow.

Have a great night, everyone!

Thank you Spyfy for the perfect, continuous update while keeping the thread for facts only to save everyone's time.
Is it now confirmed that the bill will go back to senate? Or is it still possible that HOC would approve the amendments?

It had been confirmed that it will go back to the senate last Friday when the motion came out. The bill will go back to the Senate for sure.

It will go back to senate, then it will upto senate how it will deal with the amendments not accepted by the house.
May end up a longer waiting.

Personally I think 1-2weeks this will receive royal assent.. especially that many of senator were tweeting abt this a lot lately.

I am sorry I have a problem setting the alart for the thread, what was the amendments which the house didn't accept and need to return the bill to senate for it .

All three of them. The HoC amended two and rejected one (language requirements).

Education please:
In the past, where the HoC has rejected All Senate amendments to a bill, has the Senate always yielded to the elected HoC or how often (%) has the Senate tried a second or third time to propose revised amendments ? Trying to get a sense of past situations.

I already said 1,000,000,000,000,000 times that it is common for the Senate to accept the HoC compromise. For a percentage, you would first have to precisely define how you categorize bills and then go through the past decisions of the Senate and produce a spreadsheet. It's not baseball where there is stats for everything. :)
