Hi everyone,
From what I'm reading in these forums, people generally find that their home country, and the amount of time they spent there has an impact on how long their BGC takes.
Could everyone share the following? I think this MAY be helpful for us to get a better sense of CIC's processing standards and time...
1. What is your home country?
2. How long were you there?
3. Anything that could make your BGC take longer? (e.g. military service in home country, working in government office in home country, political involvement, etc.)
4. Did you already provide a criminal record from your home country and/or Canada with your application?
5. When did your BGC start? When did it finish (if it has)?
Thanks everyone!
Note: obviously please only answer these if you are comfortable in doing so. Feel free to skip a question if you don't want to answer. No pressure! Just thought that the more info we have, the more we can make sensible predictions (maybe, hopefully).
