BG check changed from "not started" to "not needed at this time"

Hi everyone

This morning myCIC shows my bg checked changed to not needed at this ime.... my bg check never been in progress. I am worried cuz it seems my application will be rejected due to incomplete. I saw a lots of people changed from in progress to not needed at this time but mine never been in progress

Hi Kennyandchen,

My AOR Nov-16. My BG changed from 'Not Started' to 'Not Needed' on Dec-10. But I haven't got any update after that. I doubt it is a reject. If it is a reject, then I should have gotten something already. We are seeing a number of people in NOV having same update but most are Inland. But I think we are getting the same update too. Lets wait and see.

Any further update for you guys?? Did it change to "In progress" later?

I am in the same boat. My status changed from "Not started" to "Not needed at this time".

Relax guys, it is just that your file is moved from one Vo to other, generally its CIO to CPC - OTTAWA

It just means your file has moved offices, either local VO or CPC ottawa !
