I got accepted in three universities:

Ryerson Uni. for the Master of Engineering in Computer Networks program.
Carleton Uni. for the Master of Engineering in Electronics and Computer program.
University of Victoria for the Master of Engineering in Telecommunications & Information Security program.

I am leaning towards UVic MTIS program right now but I am looking for a second opinion for which University is better and if somebody can answer me a couple of questions I have:

What university offer a better co-op program?
I am planning to work and live in Canada after I graduate, is it better to study in BC or in ON in that case?

Congrats for our admits. I am also finalizing UVIC. Its co-op program is pretty good. Also, if anyone studies in BC for 2 years, he/she is eligible to apply for PR. I see you have admit from MTIS. Its good but considerably expensive program and no scholarship too. Also, UVIC's ranking is better than the other universities you mentioned. :)

thanks :), I was reviewing the PR options in BC and I can apply for a PR without studying for 2 years, I just need a Master or a PHD degree and provide evidence I intent to reside in BC, the length of the program does not matter, maybe they change it (and they can change it again the next year), for what I have read the PR options change relative quickly in every province.

I have a question, do you know if it is easy to get into the co-op option in the MTIS program?

the MTIS program is not that expensive when you compare it to Ryerson and Carleton (my other options), around 9k-10k CAD each term in Ryerson and Carleton and I did not get a scholarship in both of them :/

That is why I am leaning towards UVic and because of the weather :)

thanks for your feedback.

Thank you for updating me regarding the PR policy. :) . To get into a co-op program is possible if the industry has demand, so it varies every year. Although i heard UVIC's co-op is best in west Canada, and overall next to Waterloo's co-op.
I was not comparing the expenses with other universities, i just meant the program I got admit from , fees is 2.5 lakh/year. And it sure is best for living (all the BC region). I hope to see you there. If you decide to finalize UVIC, then lets make a whatsapp group. :)

I thought you were already studying there, did you apply for the MASc or the MEng program?
In that case we should do a Whatsapp group with all the future UVic students :)
