Worried Brit on the medical it asks what visa office you're dealing with? I think you out the office that will processing your PR app like in my case Buffalo. I believe all medical results are sent to Ottawa and then accessed by the Visa office processing your app. Correct me if I'm wrong?

Kelkel -

That's interesting! Shows you what a difference the doctor can make.

My husband definitely had the male doctor. My husband is in very good shape (resting heart rate in the mid 40's) and hasn't had any illnesses. So we figured that was the reason he didn't get grilled. But I guess there was more to it than that!

I've heard a few horror stories on the message boards about doctors not sending the right form or not giving a copy of the form for the application or sending the paperwork to the wrong office. So I was really happy with this clinic because they knew exactly what do to without being told (I made sure my husband grilled them on the details before they even started the check-up!).

Hmmmm, I definately put down Mississauga. And they received it as its down on my e-cas.
Not sure then. I just put CPC -M as i knew that was where we were sending the completed application forms and everything else before they forwarded it to london. It seems to have worked out ok, but I would definately double check first. Eek!

Everything is confusing! Well I imagine if you have all your info on the medical and submit the form with your application it will get requested from wherever it is when its needed lol. I should change my name to WorriedCanadian :)

Luis Carreno-Segura - friendly, older doctor College St - Toronto

Total cost was $138, had to wait for a little while even though I had an appointment, but that was ok for me.

Good thing that while the doctors office is upstairs, the X ray and blood work is in the "basement" (lower level) so everything in same building. I think they only accept cash but not sure; X ray and blood work was cash only for sure.

Secretary seems to know what she is doing, real polite.

Looks like I got ripped off at $250 here in Toronto... No need to "refer" my expensive doctor to the forum as I could have it done for almost $100 less for what I'm learning here and the place did not look like a fancy office at all... It always pays off to seek a second quote, I suppose...
